Update policy

Journal Sahélien des Sciences de la Santé (JSSS) — Annals of André Salifou University of Zinder, Series B. ISSN: 1859-5162

The Journal Sahélien des Sciences de la Santé (JSSS) participates in Crossref's CrossMark service. By clicking the CrossMark button displayed on an article's web page or PDF, readers can confirm that they are viewing the current version of the document and immediately access any subsequent updates (correction, erratum, retraction or removal).

Commitment to content maintenance

JSSS is committed to preserving published content on a permanent basis and to signalling any post-publication change through metadata deposited with Crossref. The version of record is the version published on the journal's official website: https://www.j3s-fss-uas.org.

Minor corrections (errata and corrigenda)

Minor errors that do not affect the results or conclusions (typographical errors, incorrect affiliations, references or captions) are addressed through an erratum (publisher error) or a corrigendum (author error) linked to the original article. The original article remains available, with the correction clearly indicated.

Major corrections and retractions

When a substantial error, proven scientific misconduct (plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, redundant publication) or an ethical breach compromises the reliability of an article, a retraction is issued. The retraction notice is linked to the article, which remains accessible and clearly marked "Retracted", in line with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Removals

In exceptional cases an article may be removed (for example, defamatory or unlawful content, or content posing a serious risk). The content is then replaced by an explanatory notice, while the metadata and DOI are retained.

Versions

JSSS publishes a single final version of each article (the version of record). Where an update occurs, the nature and date of the change are recorded in the CrossMark metadata and can be consulted via the CrossMark button.

Ethical framework

This policy adheres to the principles of COPE (publicationethics.org) and to the ICMJE recommendations on the conduct, reporting and correction of scholarly work.
